~ BELIEF | TOLERANCE | SERVICE ~ 5/12/2016 Talk your talk / walk your walk In 2004 my employer sent me to a Virtues Project 2.5 day workshop. I was already committed to serving the Soul with the healing services I had certified in over 25 adult years but it wasn't until I understood my virtues and 5 simple strategies to help me to live them fully, I wasn't IN service.  I was working with single/non-custodial "at risk" dads, helping them to parent in a more positive way. As soon as I began using The 5 Strategies especially, speaking the language of virtues, they began to respond. They inturn acted in service as they integrated what they learned into their activities. Sometimes, being of service is as simple as BEing an example. This was a stepping stone for me. I followed my heart allowing Grace to unfold. The next 5 years would couple me with Public Health Agency of Canada creating what I believe to be a beautiful program helping fathers to bring out the best in their children. ~ Barbara Helping others always helps everyone involved, including us. ~ Barbara :)
